This is the TBR pile for the A-R authors with a few scattered that I want to read sooner. There is another bookcase in another room at home for the rest of the alphabet (and more hardcovers), and a bookcase and a whole load of boxes in the office. I’m both greedy and selective, I promise! Although I’ll generally read 20 or more books a month, a lot of them come from current piles that don’t make it on to this one, so it slowly grows....

That is such an organised TBR list. Amazing. I think mine would be the same in size if I placed it all in one spot. Viva reading.
Wow. Just... wow. I have the same problem with my new stuff tempting me over anything that's on the TBR shelves.
That TBR is both intimidating and scary at the same time. Simply wow!
Impressive pile! I like the variety but also the emphasis on romance. :) Seems like a good thing when a romance editor chooses to read that much romance outside of work.

that looks about like my bookshelves. I have 3 five shelf bookshelves in my living room (alaphabetized) and 2 of the 3 are my TBR books where the other is my keeper shelf (which is now over flowing itself). I have books stacked across the back and in front every which way.
Eventually I will get to read all of the books. Right now, I loan them out to people I work with. They will say I need to pick up so and so book, I'm like, I have it, don't buy it you can borrow mine.
I knew you guys would understand. Unlike those (mostly family--friends know better!) who wonder why I just don't not keep them, read them first or -- horrors! -- stop buying new ones until these are read.
Oh--and I do have a kindle, but the next thing they need is a "prioritize" option as to what you want to appear first. Sort by name, author and priority.
I'm looking forward to seeing how other people manage so I can get some tips!
Would love that 'prioritize' button on the Kindle! But what I really want is a sort by genre function. Romances in one section, mystery, horror, etc., all easily findable in their own sections.
wow im impressed! I thought my pile was large but mine is tames compared to that. its like owning your own book shop, what fun!
That is a great TBR Pile I have close to that probably but no where near that organized! that's awesome!
My TBR pile is also alphabetized! But it's not quite as alarming as Matrice's...
